We will be meeting together with three other Meetups: Spirituality, Metaphysics and Meditation.

We will be reading (aloud) in its entirety the newly published Gospel of Judas. You don't need to purchase a copy, just come and listen. This newly discovered and translated work has been the object of instensive international news reporting over the last month, and the subject of a National Geographic television special that will be re-airing this Saturday, April 22nd at 9pm ET.

This purported gospel turns the traditional view of Judas on its head. According to this gospel Judas was Jesus's favorite disciple, and did Jesus's bidding by turning him in.

The reading will take about 30 minutes, the document is not long.

For our May Meetup we'll be discussing the Bhagavad Gita. If you'd like, you are invited to read the Gita in advance. It is fairly short. Choose any translation, or read it in Sanskrit if you can. :)
